You may recognize this skirt from a style post from the 4th of July. Well, unsurprisingly, I still love it and wanted to transition it into fall.
For our first true weekend of fall weather in the South I paired this skirt with my chambray shirt. Two of my favorite pieces in one outfit. Pretty good deal in my book. I actually loved the combination so much it was actually sad when the day was over and I had to change out of my outfit. And then put it into the laundry. Which, let’s be honest, is still sitting in my closet, unwashed.
I may possibly love this skirt even more for fall than I did for summer. It was warmer than I would have expected but still let me enjoy the crispness in the air.
During the day I wore the flats you see pictured. For the evening, I added my camel booties for a little extra fall kick and a cardigan for an extra layer of warmth.
What I am wearing:
Jeans by Buffalo shirt-last year (similar), Effie’s Heart skirt on sale! (found locally at Sky Blue), Me Too shoes
