This past weekend was the first true glimpse of fall we have had in South Louisiana, and it was glorious. And just in time for boot season!
That’s right, I consider the seasons according to my footwear and accessories. It is now officially boot and scarf season, people. And I am pumped! I actually had a conversation with my mom last week about the weather changing and how nice it will be when we can walk outside and not immediately feel like we are melting. And then as if our brains are one, we said in unison “Then we can wear boots!”

These are 1 of my pair of boots, I have a few… These are what I would consider to be more show stopper ones, though. I love them. They give me a boost of confidence every time I wear them. I especially love them paired with these tights. The teal color combined with the tan of the boots is just a yummy combo to me.
One of my favorite looks for the fall season is a dress over tights. I find it to be really comfortable and usually the right amount warmth for the season. It’s an easy look to layer when you need, and looks put together without trying to hard. I am looking forward to wearing more looks like this during this boot season 🙂

SUCH a cute outfit! I never have the boldness to buy colored tights, but when you play them down with some muted colors like this it’s less abrasive and just adorable! Love the boots 🙂
I discovered my love for colored tights a few years ago. I bought several pairs because the colors were so pretty in the store, then I got them home and had to figure out what I could actually wear them with, ha!
Love this outfit! I am a total fan of dresses or skirts with tights and boots in fall and winter…now if only the weather would cool back down! 🙂
